Tried to go to the Hanami festival in the city yesterday but the parking lot was totally full. I had to drive because public transportation would have taken 90 minutes from where I live. Circled the lot twice trying to find a spot, then gave up & went home.

Few weeks ago I emailed someone renting out their condo. They wanted a $250 move-in fee & a $500 pet fee. Asked them if there was also pet rent & they said yes, $25 per cat per month. Ridiculous. Told them never mind, it was more than I wanted to spend.

Okay this lineup is so bizarre I think I might actually go this year
Finally got in and the cheapest pavilion seats are $174 with fees. Thought about lawn seats but the lawn at Ravinia is kind of flat so you mainly have to rely on screens, and I'll have to deal with people socializing and talking through the show.

In line to buy a Beck ticket. I hate that Ravinia puts tickets for the entire season on sale at the same time. And now there's some "reserved lawn" section to make things even more annoying.
