Back to art. I'm not a huge fan of performance art, but Marina Abramovic is brilliant. "The Artist is Present," 2010 at MOMA - 600+ hours of sitting silently with only (I say "only," how difficult it must have been to maintain) eye contact with each visitor. "Cleaning the Mirror" is also genius.

Delete Google Maps, which now has substituted the "Gulf of Mexico" with the "Gulf of America." So far Apple Maps still holds the line. I may have to go back to paper maps. That might not be a bad thing.

I almost fell over when I first saw this portrait of St. Christopher ferrying Jesus in the cathedral at Toledo. It's monstrous, but what really floored me was how modern it looked in relation to its surroundings. It was RESTORED in 1638, and, per Wikipedia, "painted in an earlier period."
