Trump has no leverage here and can't force Putin to end it, or make sure he honors the truce. Just like he couldn’t make him respect Syria’s de-escalation zone.

NATO wasn't obligated to intervene since Ukraine isn't a member. Obama's failure of deterrence, doesn't change the fact that Russia fueled and escalated the so-called "civil war" in Eastern Ukraine.

Lol, without Russia's involvement, that "civil war" would've ended with police action. Like it did in many Eastern cities like Mariupol. The majority of "separatists" were Russian military officers.
