I always say that DEI policies function the same way as anti-Nepotism laws because they force employers to look at a broader pool to select the best.

Diversity initiatives were meant to overcome the old patterns of nepotism, so I guess it makes sense that the enemies of diversity are big fans of nepotism.

Having to get a tooth pulled on short notice sucks because of the cost, but the pain isn't worth it. At least I've got a good dentist.

2025 is likely gonna be the year I go from being "neutral good" to "chaotic neutral".
Given some of the discourse, rhetoric, and moves made by those with power that shouldn't have it, I can't stay quiet about any of it, especially when it comes to civil rights and standards of living.
