Funny that I was just talking to my daughter about how I played Gauntlet and Paperboy for hours when I was a kid!
Gauntlet II also had a bit of history outside of the arcade. Prior to release, Atari held a contest via its Atari Games Players Club newsletter in January, '86, to design features (like a new monster) and new levels for the sequel. There would be a total of 25 winners picked from the submissions.
