Ka'bah is a direction, not a deity.
Here's an easy explanation:
If u destroy / remove the Ka'bah block, we won't even change our direction.
If u remove that cow statue away, those mushrik will change their direction towards the new cow's location. Bcoz they worship that cow statue itself.
