Interesting thing about this set of cards is that despite them all referencing a specific mode in the game only the Rainmaker card is actually named as the mode, the rest are objects within that mode.
"The Rainmaker" would fit the theme more but it would also include it in the Weaponry category.

Fix Torpedo please :)
Player gets targeted, landing point gets shown but the ring around the player never shows.
Also TIL that targeted ring disappears once the landing dot appears.

Angle Shooter but it's a Point Sensor that cluster bombs Angle Shooters at various points around the sphere of effect and is designed like one of these.

The most interesting part though is that despite the Sub Weapon cards featuring the in-game models of the subs instead of 2D art, they also have a mix of matches and non.
I assume most of these differences are just a case of a mix of reference material and different teams making design choices.

Ok I'm back.
So some weapons do and some don't. I haven't checked every weapon yet and will probably make a list of those that match and don't. However there are also a decent amount of weapons that don't have any ink indicators on them so there's nothing to match in those cases.

History of weapon 3rd kits.
I assume if Sheldon's Picks or Kensa Collection returns the new weapons from Splat2 and Splat3 will fill the slots of the weapons that Emberz & Barazushi stole.
E-liter 4K is the only Splat1 related weapon that hasn't had a 3rd kit at this point.
