Sack him now and bring in a new manager we want, or be forced to sack him in the autumn and scramble around for a replacement. 18 months of terrible league performances and results suggest that nothing will improve next season, except the quality of his excuses.

Prioritising Europa is such an obvious piece of nonsense from Ange to justify the disgraceful League form. This guy has spent the whole season issuing excuse after excuse and fans lap it up. Why do fans think for one minute that our league form will improve next season with Ange in place?

Come on Alasdair, I know you are a fan but a journalist has to show balance. To suggest sacking Ange would invite ridicule - as if we should ignore one of the worst league seasons in our history - is silly. There's a good case for keeping him (winning EL) and a strong case for letting him go.
