Indeed. When they rounded up the Japanese Americans, myself and my family included, for internment during WWII out of fear over Japanese spies and saboteurs, two thirds of us were U.S. citizens.

Been having a lot of conversations with my teenage son lately about fighting for human rights and voting because his voice matters. I also told him to vote for what matters not only to him but what he truly believes will help his community. This starts at home. I really think I raised a good human.
