That’s what it is! 🤩 Thanks for sharing!! I found it too and was wondering what it is (not so much a mushroom person 🐸). Can you tell me more about why it’s rare and what it needs to be happy? Here is my find from just north of you, in Bavaria, Germany.

Estonian bog in April. Lots of recreation activities all year around, swimming, snow shoeing, hiking, plenty more, and most of all: recharging.

Happy World Wetlands Day from Bavaria and the alpine region! 🐸💦🏔️
Scenic view of the treed bog peatland “Schechenfilze” close to the Alpes, with an Eddy tower and plenty of Sphagnum, heather and cottongrass between the abundant pine trees. This peatland’s called “schwarzes Moor”(“black peatland”) and fortunately it proves its name wrong and the beautiful peatland colour palette applies without any restriction. Alpine super puffy cottongrass is happily seeding in the higher mountain wetland spheres. Foggy weather helps moisturizing this tiny mountain wetland.
