Sun WuKong deserves to be a little fucked up. He deserves to care so deeply about the people around him but to be majorily incompetent at doing so. He deserves to be a muddy mess between blind altruism and blinded egotism. As a treat.

As in, he is still somewhat of a pathological liar; he still reacts with violence first and thinking later; he still has to break things to truly understand why breaking them is bad, and he is still *awful* at apologizing because a part of him will always be too selfish to face his own issues

Season 4 has the best cast for me though, ooohh the Brotherhood has hit all the checkmarks for me, such a good fcking cast; genuinely if it weren’t for the whack training arc Season 4 would have topped the list for me

*About the writing: While Season 3 is super special to me bc it got me into LMK, I think the Special has some flaws (all bc of the fckass time constraints) that drag it down, and while I ADORE Season 4, unfortunately the training arc section just. Does Not Work. At All.
