I’m so grateful I work for myself because the grief is overwhelming. I knew it would be hard, but was not prepared for the depths of sadness.

A week down with my first week of intermittent fasting. I built a little tracker in @notion.com with buttons and count downs with formulas. I’m going to add a few other bells and whistles.

If you have ADHD and struggle with being consistent with client leads and onboarding I HIGHLY recommend visually mapping out your entire workflow, creating an SOP from it, and follow it to a T. Even after 12 yrs of freelancing if I don’t follow this something invariably falls through the cracks.

Reclaiming yarn today. I knitted a sweater 2 years ago, and it fit terribly. La Bien Aimee’s Confetti in Greybow is too amazing to exist in a sweater I’ll never wear. Check out all those little nubs. It’s recycled yarn. 🤩

Just grabbed it! I also just picked up this one from the same author. One of the more prolific volunteers was in an insane asylum…he must mention it in the book you recommended now that I think about it.

I’m reading The Dictionary of Lost Words - historical fiction about the Oxford English Dictionary.

The way the dictionary came about is wild. There was a crowdsourced campaign for English speakers to send in “slips” of paper from all over the world, each had a word + its definition.
