Just remembered, @TheRoyalSkies on youtube has playlist with very short and concise instructions for blender and other stuff. Plenty other people have longer form tuts.

Yea, if you're going fresh in then blender is probably the way, though don't have experience with other modern software.

I only model in blender and animate in SFM 😥

Cause the things you'd need to learn are already sufficiently overwhelming when just editing something pre-existing x_x

Don't remember specific tutorials but i watched a bunch, and joined LordAardwarks discord cause he has a chanell for sfm troubleshooting, some other people also have similar stuff afaik.

Though making a model from scratch probably isn't what i would recommend, probably start by editing one x_x
