I’m also convinced the @mkbhd.com mouse embarrassment made them go “oh yeah let’s replace that”, so breaking the echo chamber is a good itself.

You’re allowed to think AI sucks, that’s not what I’m contesting at all here. But they advertised this, hard, they sold devices based on this. And it’s just nowhere in sight. That’s a huge miss.

I think they certainly under invested in the trend, but the massive miss of Apple Intelligence is too much pie in their own face for me to believe that intentional
