There have been massive forest fires all around the Mediterranean basin for days, in Rhodes, Mugla, Antalya, and now in Sicily. Moreover, they are cutting down the natural pine forests in Akbelen. This is a true ecosocial crisis.

We knew this year's heat was coming. Article from last year is typical of the ones we've skimmed past. It can't be mitigated for the richest while the global poor carry the can.
