Wow! University of Virginia new President not well vetted!!!!
This seems to strongly suggest that the incoming president of UVA doctored his CV to the edge of outright dishonesty, and that the most recent changes came months before Jim Ryan was forced, as if they were made in anticipation in Ryan’s removal. augustafreepress.com/news/vanishi...

Inside Higher Ed frames the controversy surrounding Scott C. Beardsley's appointment as the University of Virginia's president.

Few comments in the President’s diatribe of lies two nights ago. I guess he’s such an embarrassment we can’t bear to talk about it?

Constitutional crisis debate is already do outdated!
This move comes even though a federal judge previously ordered the agency to preserve strong, independent news operations for audiences in countries where reliable press access is limited.

Why don’t they question Trump? He gives to Argentina for swiping our soya bean market in China due to his tariffs? Farmer suicide spike? Yet they still believe him?

👹 Mid-Michiganders beware.

There be monsters in your midst, bleeding you of your ability to feed your family, pay for your home, keep yourself healthy, and enjoy the comfortable, successful life you deserve.

That cold, creepy hand in your wallet belongs to your Congressman.

Math is not correct even though 7 million impressive—what is population of US divided by 7,000,000?
The event organizers say 7m people showed up. That would mean ~1 out of every 50 Americans came out to protest the president
This is what democracy looks like. #NoKings

Over the past 21 months of war in #Gaza, more than 17,000 children have reportedly been killed and 33,000 injured. An average of 28 children have been killed each day — the equivalent of an entire classroom.

The violence has to end. Aid must be allowed in. #CeasefireNow

Turns out that when you base essentially your entire case for becoming president on the idea that there's an ongoing invasion by murderous criminals and only mass deportations can solve the problem, your voters expect you to produce said criminals. Now they're just going after anyone they can.
They’re lashing out against Habeas and arresting Mayors because they know their position is weak and getting weaker, and they’re panicking. It’s scary to live through, but it’s less scary when you remember this isn’t coming from a position of strength, it’s sweaty desperation.

I think Trump wants to incite violent protest/nonviolent resistance such as physical blocking of his vanity birthday parade. He’d like to invoke martial law from that. What if protestors themselves made it a day of service to shame him, giving the argument below?
Maybe they should take that money and instead of a gahtdamn parade, make it a day of Service —Community Service.
Send those 6,000 troops out to do roadwork, repairing houses, working on infrastructure.
