Turns out the wet blend is really nice for skin like Markiona's, and Saturation can help mute the tone. I'm trying to lean towards a Silent Hill muteness without losing too much of the color, and I think it's working out

The actual character Dorian Gray is the subject of the painting in the novel, but I think the narrative/writers figured it would be more obvious to say Gray and not Basil
