We survived the first week and I’m happy to report that my cat’s curly eyebrow has made a comeback. Real morale booster over here.
A close up shot of my tuxedo cat. She’s looking somewhere in the middle distance, tolerating me sticking my phone in her face. Most importantly, one of the eyebrow hairs over her right eye ends in a perfect little curl. And next to it is a real scraggly one so that’s good too.

Update: frogged the whole thing and started from scratch and now I have a moon pillow! I also realized I never shared Large Chicken here, so she’s included as well. (Her name is Brunhilda)
Here we have a crocheted crescent moon made of speckled blue yarn - it’s being eclipsed a bit by a large crocheted chicken in gray speckled white yarn with a tiny face and comb.

I’m watching The Santa Clause as I do every year and this is my first time picking up the detail that Scott Calvin is 38 years old. I am 37 years old (I don’t understand how I’m not still in my 20s). I am now having a small mental breakdown. Merry Crisis!

The aforementioned tree skirt that I made last night, which may not seem like a big deal to do it that fast cause it’s tiny but I only make amigurumi! This is only my like, third? ‘flat’ piece ever.
Photo of the bottom right corner of my pink Christmas tree and the crochet tree skirt I made. It looks like a sweater for the bottom of my tree and it’s done in a soft wool in pinks and teals and ivory. It completely matches the tree and the tiny round ornaments I have on it.

My perfect angel baby (a terror, a traumatized lasher-outer) goes thru these cycles with her eyebrows where for a time, she’ll have one curled, whimsical af eyebrow. Eventually it uncurls & I am devastated until it happens again. Well this time it’s extra sad. That was my emotional support eyebrow!
My tuxedo cat, Blue, looks up and to the left (where I’m holding my hand off camera so she’ll look). She has yellow eyes, and one perfectly curled eyebrow over her right eye. It looks like a fiddlehead. It’s perfect and I love it. My tuxedo cat, Blue, has her head tipped backwards and is looking up at me. My hand is under her chin giving scritches. Sadly, her eyebrows are all normal. Not a whimsical curl in sight. Her whiskers look pretty magnificent though.

Monster’s first day at work! Why yes I’m rotating between DDLV, Stardew, and Fae Farm to cope lately.

This week is about to be one of the worst I’ve lived through so obviously I stocked up on gremlin food and just remembered I got corn dogs and I can just have a corn dog as a snack.
