I'm almost 70 now, and what that sort of abuse does to you, how it makes you feel...it's something you think about every day.
It feels like you are bleeding heavily, but nobody can see your agony.

As a survivor of exactly this sort of abuse, I feel pretty confident in saying that underage girls are treated as disposable.

And this behavior doesn't ever stop. No creepy crawler ever stops their bad behavior because they suddenly realize that touching little girls (or boys) is wrong.

When my spouse died in March, I didn't even have to notify them; within 3 weeks I got my new benefit amount. They're wonderfully efficient.

My best friend is a former Deputy Director at Social Security and even though she has retired (after working there for 30some years), she reads the lies and it makes her angry. Social Security works. SSI needs to be improved, but the program itself works. The hoop jumping for benefits needs to stop

We're having Thanksgiving pizza and i ordered it early so I could avoid spending money later.
Seems rhat after the death of their father in March, our adult children can't handle traditional things just yet. Dad is still everywhere, so Christmas is canceled too.

I second that. Figure skating was a huge part of my life for years. I made it to landing double jumps (because ladies didn't triple at that time.) I loved the Glide so much, that I kept at it and advanced to positively mediocre.
Still, I'm a huge fan and it's nice to meet a fellow skater.
