This is chaos and very sweet.

Christmas 2020 my brother and BIL bought me a lot of beer from a few local breweries. I had enough beer to make it to Easter.

I forgot to post a happy gotcha day to my cats. It's been four years of chaos and cuddles.

Shortly after the included photo was taken, they had a wrestling match, resulting in both of them falling off the cat tree.

My town is doing a Stars Hollow themed night around town. The list of participating businesses is quite long and perfect. The only thing I don't like is how they're conducting the Town Meetings. It's like a raffle thing instead of having actual meetings.

Same. With bonus lap cats.

Last year I made vegan and allergen friendly individual pumpkin pies and a cranberry curd tart. This year, per request, the tart will be made again. I made a few hundred of the meringue kisses, and snacked on them until new year's.

Waffle thinks my tomatoes are balls for him to play with. He loves balls. So I understand. But they're my snack.

The first piece to The Project is completed. (I still need to attach some twill tape for ties.) Everything used in the construction was stuff I already had. About 85% of this was done by hand.

In the final stretch of election day. We've seen a larger than normal turnout for an odd year election cycle. Lots of local races and a couple tax levies. I love busy election days.

Waffle is such an old man. He's sleeping through sports ball on the TV.

Welp out of goody bags at the 45 minute mark of trick or treat tonight. I had some random other stuff I handed out for a few. That's gone now too. Lots of kids this year. I love that my neighborhood is filling with families again. And it's a very diverse area of town.

Below were the goodies

It's the 8th annual breast cancer awareness conference at work. It's always an emotional and uplifting day. I've watched it grow over the years. It's always good to see so many, women and men, show up for this.

They don't do this often anymore. But my neighbor is doing some yard work this evening and they have to supervise.

Slow mornings in the office mean a little arts and crafts time.

Tocata and Fugue in D Minor is the perfect song to show off if you're an organ player. And it's especially great on a large pipe organ in a room acoustically perfect for it.

I'm taking advantage of a partnership between my local library and my local symphony to see the fall symphony performance. They perform in the same space where I performed as part of my university's symphonic Wind ensemble. I adore this space.

Here's a detail photo of part of the embroidery. Everything being used to make this pocket was stuff I had on hand from other projects. It's the first thing I need to finish as part of a larger project that needs to be completed by May.

I need to get up and use the bathroom but I don't want to disturb this sleepy sick boy.

9b. The tabulator will scan the barcode and store the information. Once it completes the scan, the ballot will drop into the bin below, and you'll be handed a sticker. Congratulations your ballot has been cast and counted!

The average voting time for Ohioans is about 5 minutes.

9a. You will take your ballot to the Ballot Tabulators. These, unfortunately, look like shredders. They are NOT shredders. You will be guided by Ballot Tabulator Supervisors on how to cast your ballot. It functions like the paper money slot on vending machines and self scans.

I took one photo today regarding my adventure to watch a marching band competition. And it's not even band related.

We need more whimsy like this in our architecture.

I have a functioning rotary phone asy landline. Its ring is louder than my cell so I always tell friends and family to call the house first if they need me. I tend to leave my cell in random places around the house.

Watching some @thebulwark.com videos with my cat Waffle this Sunday morning.
