Most recently finished "Night" by Elie Wiesel. Please read this and pass it on for others to read. We all need to be uncomfortable and aware about this

Also finally finished Oscar Wilde's The Picture of Dorian Gray. I kinda viewed this as the 19th century's version of Bret Easton Ellis's American Psycho. Hedonism, vanity, murder, and lack of consequences for the privileged 😗 all relevant today tbh

I read the Illustrated Man by Ray Bradbury in early March. It's fascinating how up to date Bradbury's words are still in 2025 🤯

Reading The Serviceberry by Robin Wall Kimmerer as a quick little sweet treat 😋 📚💙

Feels more lighthearted and uplifting than my more recent readings and current events - a much needed breath of fresh air

Got this email today from the National Park Trust 🥺❤️‍🩹 we evidently cannot rely on our government to help protect our parks and nature areas, so it's up to us. If you're interested, you can check their website out and see how to support all they do: parktrust.org

Just finished Where Wolves Don't Die by Anton Treuer

It touched on really heavy topics surrounding the oppression of Native American people and their culture by white people. Had me in tears multiple times.
5/5 ⭐️

Got my order from the Vonnegut Museum and Library: another book for my collection and a lil tote to carry more books 📚 💙 Came in the cutest shipping packaging!!

If this isn't nice, I don't know what is.

Love when #books and #music collide 📚💙

The song has talked me into reading Killers of the Flower Moon. Maybe I'll watch the movie as a treat after?

Thinking of making a macramé (macraMAKE lol) shower curtain detail. Do we think it's tacky? And more importantly, do we think the shorter length will discourage the cats from messing with it?
