Ok, yeah. Lesson 2, Exercise 4: Dissections is making my head spin lol
I thought I’d finish at least one of the two pages today, but nope. I’m gonna take my time with this one, textures are something I really want to give my best shot at learning and understanding properly.

Lesson 2 exercise 3: Texture Analysis
This one was tough! Had to reread the instructions and watch the videos a few times, and I’m still not 100% sure I got it. But I managed to complete it!

This one was tough! Had to reread the instructions and watch the videos a few times, and I’m still not 100% sure I got it. But I managed to complete it!

It’s been almost a month since life got ridiculously busy, but now I finally have time to get back to Draw a Box! I’m working on the Texture Analysis exercise and should finish it tomorrow, and then it’s back to daily studies.

Lots of fun drawing these little guys, I wish I had more time to keep at it before going to bed. But then again, this is not supposed to be a grind

Ok yeah, Lesson 2 is hard! Didn’t think I’d miss drawing boxes this soon.
As I add this exercise to my warm-up routine, it should get easier. But for a first attempt? I’d say it’s pretty decent, if messy! Kinda makes me want to draw a bunch of little dragons

Ok yeah, Lesson 2 is hard! Didn’t think I’d miss drawing boxes this soon.

On box 173, I spaced out and started with something that looked more like an arrow than the usual Y shape. I kinda panicked, but I think it turned out okay? Guess I’ll find out tomorrow when I extend the lines to check if they converge. Fingers crossed.

Almost done with the 250 box challenge! Hopefully, I’ll have time to draw other things… maybe even get the courage to study colors on weekends. We’ll see.
