If you do end up subscribing I would recommend doing it through your computer (same goes with any other app) as the App Store and Google Play take a cut from the company. Usually (not in Dropout’s case) the company passes that cost to you and makes subscribing on your phone more expensive

I’m much more likely to listen to a new podcast if the host guests repeatedly on a different show and I really like them. Contextless episodes of shows I’m unfamiliar with are an imposition unfortunately

i think this is very beautiful and true and also the opposite of a boomer post, most boomers i know think that the hard way is better and making life easier is taking “shortcuts”
