My most recently finished project, the Flights of Fancy Cowl (designer Jamie Hoffman). Love how it has the appearance of stained glass.

Knit Cowl is lying against a red background. The Cowl is done in a moss greenish base color with inserts of a gradient yarn in shades ranging from blues to light pinks. The gradient yarn inserts have an abstract shape inspired by birds in flight and have an appearance reminiscent of stained glass.

Sometimes, when I won't get up and do what my dog Wyatt wants me to do, he goes over to my 93rd old granpda instead, but maintains eye contact with me the entire time.
I think it's a threat, "Do what I want or I climb into the old guys lap."

My grandfather. He is nearly 94 years old and has had a number of health scares this year, but is still smiling. I'm privileged to have been able to move in and care for him this year so he can stay in his home.

Taking lessons from my dog in appreciating a soft pillow and the small joys in life (which in his case is his ball, always).
