I haven’t watched the news in months, but I do read the news; however I may have to stop that too. Renaming the Gulf of Mexico? Not ruling out taking Mexico and Greenland by military force and Canada by economic force? Seriously? Wake me up from this nightmare now.

It’s really disturbing how the media just normalizes everything Trump say or does. It is not “normal” to muse about buying Greenland or sending an army into Mexico without their permission or to refer to the PM of Canada as a governor and Canada as the 51st state. This is not going to end well.

It’s hard to be optimistic today: anybody got any good news to share? And another question, I rarely post, comment a little more but of a sudden I’ve picked up several new followers. Are more people coming bere away from Threads or are the Russian bots infiltrating?

I’m really getting tired of this texts asking me to sign something or give money to something that obviously isn’t going to happen. “Expand the Supreme Court. Recount the vote.” If almost a billion dollars didn’t beat Trump, we obviously need to try something else.

Does anyone/everyone else think we need some fresh blood in the Senate leadership? It just doesn’t seem to me that under Schumer’s and Durbin’s leadership there has been enough urgency on getting things done the last 4 years. I understand Sinema & Manchin were problems, but still.
