A sunset so stunning, it leaves me speechless after a long day full of many words to many people. I’m grateful. I’m thankful. I’m hopeful. I’m wishful. I’m tenacious and protective. And everything will be ok. I always have the bells … #dontpostponejoy #justlove #jhg

Live your love ….We need less to be told how to live our lives and more to see people living inspirational lives.

It’s World Lupus day. For years, I’ve worn purple to bring awareness to a disease that I live with, as well as so many. Instead, I decided to wear a shirt of a foundation that brings awareness every day . 🙏🏻💜 Research. Awareness. Hope. Joy. Smile. #worldlupusday #justlove #Dontpostponejoy

It was a cloudy day today and it snowed. Late March in the upper Midwest never surprises me.

And I’m grateful for this view.
With bits of joy thrown in my days for extra shimmer!

Next up on the reviews are two music related books in March for early April release. A sister duo storyline that will be a nice diversion. And www.judewarne.com ‘s new book on Boz Skaggs Ive been very excited to read. She’s an excellent music writer and it’s great to shine light on his music. Swoon

Math class wasn’t my forte. But if I was given this opportunity to debate this one with Mr Brunner, I think my music theory would disprove his geometry proofs #mathishard

Laurie Woolever’s book, Care and Feeding, is one I’ve been waiting to review like it’s a special gift. I loved her books with Bourdain and I went through all the emotions about him with her definitive oral biography.
This book is all her and I can’t wait.

So many books to review and read and it’s an exciting year ahead for authors and the magic of words.
These are the four that I need to read and review in the next 18 days. One book is almost finished and I’ve been sneaking in chapters of the Bangles book.

Quote of the day from a longtime friend of mine…
“Of course Festivus would have to be on your birthday. “
Bwahahah!
Don’t postpone joy- even if that includes decorating a pole and a backhanded compliment today.

"This is the solstice, the still point of the sun, its cusp and midnight, the year’s threshold and unlocking, where the past lets go of and becomes the future; the place of caught breath." – Margaret Atwood
Wintertime is here and the season is upon us.

We have world class doctors and hospitals, yet limited access and ability to quality healthcare due to insufficient insurance. We don’t need practitioners discussing financials instead of giving care.
It’s time for Health INSURANCE reform.

I remember, at that other place, clearly telling people that project 2025 was very real and very connected. I was called the vilest
I’m looking forward to reminding them that policy affects everyone
