A whole new bunch of closures and layoffs, this time thanks to WB. And with it comes the cancellation of the Wonder Woman game - truly unfortunate, as WW stands with a select few other characters (like Batman) who has a setup that seems particularly well-suited for a game. Sad business, this. 😔

I will say, regardless of all else, you just don’t see AAA cancellations like Wonder Woman very often. Either that thing was going to be a historic train wreck (possible but unlikely) or whoever made that call is really bad with money. There’s no way it would have cost more to finish it.

I can't stress enough how sad and pissed I am about the closure of Monolith Productions, studio with 30 years of legacy spending almost a decade making a live service Wonder Woman game because execs mandated it only to be cancelled.

I can't stress enough how sad and pissed I am about the closure of Monolith Productions, studio with 30 years of legacy spending almost a decade making a live service Wonder Woman game because execs mandated it only to be cancelled.
