Fairy (inspired by biblically accurate angels :D), Gryphon, Satyr, and Manticore (4/4). All of these started out with traditional media (marker, colored pencil, fountain pen ink and stamp pads), and then mixed with digital media for Riso. Printed beautifully by @magicrockriso.bsky.social !

Was at @gallerynucleus.bsky.social this weekend for RAZ Fest-- so much fun! I debuted a mini gacha print series called Creature Feature! I wanted to show all 16 of the print designs in this thread, so here are Dryad, Unicorn, Barometz, and Metal Dragon (1/4)

Hooray! TURKEY TROT @simonkids.bsky.social wiggles its way onto shelves today. Look at those little legs! The front cover has no text, and we needed to make it so it could flip upside down to shelve legs up if needed (hence turkey #8). It results in a very poppy graphic image!

Holding steadfast onto the 'no rules, just right' methodology of character designing these bugs. I'm having a lot of fun just letting the drawings be a little wonky and bad, it's bringing me back to my teen years watching Dr Katz after school.

Some of my favorite brushes from the set are my marker trio, and 'Creamy Mamey' which builds up similarly to a soft oil pastel. (had fun naming that one!)

I drew a whole load of flowers yesterday with the set-- obviously some are better for softer texture while others are great for lines and tone! Lots of opportunities to mix and match.

I still remember visiting my old city (Portland) after I moved; I visited a mural of my artwork for the first time (painted by muralists, not me). Gazing up at a 60'x80' wall, brushstrokes and textures made by my hand translated by strangers into large unpredictable swashes of color, I felt small.
