Ruby is a 14-year-old foxhound mix who very much wants to be outside despite 14-degree temps. Her fav activities include rolling around in the snow/ grass, having a nap location for each time of day, generally enjoying her space, and staying calm amidst toddler prodding and doorbell ringing.

I spent much of the morning outside with my stepdaughter and dog, helping shovel snow to build a ramp at the bottom of the sledding hill in our backyard, then sledding with friends in the neighborhood. This was an intentional choice. I hope today you choose your mental health and loved ones.
