Listening to Andrew Single speak at Wpg council on the need for density, and I think he was really paying attention at Michel Durand-Wood’s book launch Saturday night!

Sometimes I wonder if people ever reflect on the quality of the outside when we have conversations about low academic scores in Manitoba students. I really think they are related. Hear me out.

Election post-mortem
Now that polls have closed, I actually prepared some of my thoughts on the NDP as a person who has had first-hand experience running as a candidate. I decided to share this after the polls closed because despite my critiques, I didn’t want to cost my party a single vote.

I feel like many professional athletes are autistic. Their special interest is perhaps a little more accepted by broader society than some other special interests. But yeah, autistic people play baseball.

Been there, done that! Not for the faint of heart!!
A prerequisite of working for the city should be trading in your driver's license for a bus pass for a full calendar year.

Great coverage of the LRSD budget by Maggie McIntosh. So excited to see that swimming has been included in the draft budget and I hope that it passes. This initiative has the potential to save lives.

In light of these conversations around national sovereignty being at the forefront of public discourse, I wanted to share my most patriotic story. The year was 2003 and the day the school year ended, my parents thought if we pushed really hard, we could make it to Ottawa from Winnipeg for Canada Day

So the plan is to take the guy who singlehandedly ruined Twitter and to give him free rein to hack up the government of the US?

I know this is probably a boomer take but I really think that if we put our collective intelligence together, we could come up with a straw that lasts longer than 75 seconds but less than 10 000 years.

Me, accidentally causing a ruckus at Warehouse One. They had these stickers with worker’s rights slogans on them at the till. And I was like no way! Are you guys unionized?!? And the worker goes and asks another “are we in a union” “no”.

I guess I should post something. Pretty proud of these moths I beaded as a Christmas present. I wish I had more time to make more gifts by hand.
