I made homemade holographic stickers of some of my Neopets for my newest sketchbook! This was my first time doing something like this, and though it took some troubleshooting, I'm so happy with the results.

I almost decided against posting this. I was playing around with a more painterly style then I'd normally use. I wouldn't call it a failed experiment as I think I learned from it and would like to try again, but it turned out flatter than I would have liked it to. It was a good experience though!

This was the result of turning my brain off and letting it take me wherever it wanted. It turned into concept for a system of magic based off of sacrifices. Phenomenal power that corrupts the body the more one taps into it.

Figment and Dreamfinder are my favorite Disney characters. The original Journey Into Imagination ride and ImageWorks were very special to me.

It's been 11 years since I drew Augh, the monster boy in the red shirt. Technically, he doesn't have a name, but I figure after 11 years he needs to be called something other than unnamed monster guy.

I think of all of the purely digital art I've drawn, this one felt the most like drawing on paper. I think it was due to the background color.

This is a little something simple from my sketchbook. Rather than putting down lines first, I but down the shapes with marker in a very vague way and added the details later. What I intended to be a dragon looked more like an aardvark and I decided to run with it.

So... I completely messed up and drew my finished line art on top of my blue pencil layer. I thought I corrected it and selected the black and deleted the blue, but as I was already started with the coloring, I realized I didn't. Still, I kept going. This is the result and I'm not upset about it!

Initially this was looking like some kind of Bluey knock off, but wandered into Calvin and Hobbes territory. But not TOO far... That snowman is too normal.

I'm getting back into daily sketching, but more than that, I want to make a well of ideas to draw from. I think I'm going to continue this habit, though I'll spare you all a daily look into my sketchbook.

You probably can't tell from the photo, but I like to use glitter markers in my sketchbook. They're actually very sparkly in person.
