#342 was Cannon

Cannon’s grandpa is ill, her mom isn’t helping, her best friend is secretly using her life as writing fodder, and her job sucks. Cannon is just a ticking bomb.

#341 was Wild Reverence

A god-child falls in love with the man who worships her in this fantasy pantheon featuring multiple realms.

#340 was The Long Game

Why yes I DID binge this directly after reading Heated Rivalry, because I needed my boys to be happy and healthy in heart and hockey.
November 30, 2025 at 9:32 PM
#339 was Slices of Life

Wordless quiet comics of Qu’s observations about life.
This is one of those comics you read if you get stuck in a rut.

#338 was The Long Game

Look. LOOK. It's currently hockey season, and then HBO had to announce that they were making a queer hockey series, so OF COURSE I had to binge this book in a day. If your main complaint with romances is that there aren’t enough sex scenes, look no further than this book.

#337 was Astral Panic

Gale has anxiety, which he is trying to manage with the wonder-cure “Simply Pear”. And it’s hella not working.
November 30, 2025 at 9:23 PM
#336 was Play You For It

The first female coach of a men's college basketball team falls in love with the sports reporter who is covering that team’s season. I can’t stand watching many sports but I will read any queer romance about any sport any time.

#335 was Folk Remedy

After telling her mother that she doesn’t believe them, an apprentice apothecary falls into the world of the yokai.

#334 was Mate

Every time I read one of Hazlewood’s werewolf books, I’m left with questions about werewolf anatomy that I’m too scared to google search.
November 23, 2025 at 4:26 PM
#333 was Witchcraft.

An anthology of stories connected by three mysterious witches who affect the lives of the townfolk through magic and their goat familiar.
November 23, 2025 at 4:21 PM
#332 was Kindred Dragons

It’s hard not to see a retelling of Anne of Green Gables when an imaginative girl gets relocated to Prince Edward Island and starts getting into all sorts of trouble based on what she daydreams.

Haven't been able to read as much because I'm in the middle of writing a chonky script but luckily my coworker is spell checking for me

#331 was Do Admit: The Mitford Sisters and Me

A biography of six sisters who shaped the 1930’s-through World War II, featuring ties to HItler, Churchill, Kennedy and more. This is the new comic I’ll read whenever I feel low on inspiration.

#330 was Creaky Acres

I have been WAITING for a horse YA graphic novel and Creaky Acres DELIVERED. Nora’s family moves, forcing her to move her best friend (and horse) Hay Fever from a fancy stable to rundown Creaky Acres, full of strange kids and a passel of possums.

#329 was Fate's Bane.

Two women from warring clans fall in love when one becomes the ward to the other’s father. A hidden spring grants them abilities to work curses. Will their love unite families or tear their world apart?
I wanted to like this one but for some reason it didn’t click for me.

#328 was Yumi and the Nightmare Painter

This was my FIRST EVER Sanderson! My mom gave me this in a book swap and I’m going to be honest, that obligation got me through the first few chapters, but I rather enjoyed it!
November 12, 2025 at 11:23 PM
#326-327 was Check, Please #1-2.

I’m all caught up on new Ukazu content and had to return to what made me fall for her work in the first place. It’s also what made me fall for the sport of hockey in the first place, and since it ‘tis the season, this was the perfect read!
November 12, 2025 at 11:17 PM
#325 was Dream On

Cassie’s parents don’t listen to her and her best friend is leaving her for the school bully, but maybe winning a sweepstake prize will change all that.
November 12, 2025 at 11:13 PM
#324 was What the Woods Took

An experimental therapy program sees five teens hiking through the woods, until their counselors disappear and something worse than mandated therapy starts haunting them from the shadows of the trees.

Sam and I saw Robert Plant
in Toronto this weekend

There was a plethora of high dads, four standing ovations, an innumerable amount of stringed instruments, several Zeppelin tributes, and Sam cried twice. 10/10 recommend

#323 was Flip

This is not a love story, but a self love story, and I like that Ukazu used the body-swap trope to get a character to better understand herself moreso than another person.

#322 was Chasing Sunshine.

This comic was so good that I had to break down it's greatness into sections that became an essay on goodreads, but before that (and most importantly): the dog lives and everyone is gay.

I just read 'Hello Sunshine' by @keezyyoung.bsky.social and it was a goddamn work of art. I'm so blown away by it that I'm going to have to break its greatness down into sections, but before that (and most importantly): the dog lives and everyone is gay.
