Today, I took Flynn to our little park in town... & then he took me to a field. He literally refused to walk unless we were going in the direction of the field! Good to see him more his old self - bossy! - after he dealt with a lot of illness over the summer.

A collieflower, spotted in the rose garden today! (We very nearly lost Flynn recently. A severe middle ear "infection" -may sadly be a tumour - stopped him eating/drinking. Poor pup went into kidney failure. Flynn only has 1 kidney so it's a miracle he survived. Treasuring every day with him ❤️)

My favourite old oak survived another winter! This tree is likely 700-800 yrs old & sits on the side of an ancient footpath; I love to think of all the people (& dogs!) who may have sheltered under its branches over the centuries. Spot Flynnie-dog! #tree #dogsofbluesky

10 years ago, on 19th Feb 2015, I met Flynn & agreed to adopt him. At that time, he had major, major behavioural issues. Our progress has been slow, sometimes painful & definitely hard won but Flynn's brought so much joy & happiness. I am endlessly glad he found his way to me. Pic - Flynn & me, 2015

Flynn, waiting outside the library. Most his life, Flynn wasn't civilised enough to visit public spaces like shops - a shame because our market town is very dog friendly. Now he LOVES coming shopping & is quite put out some places - like the library - are still out of bounds, even for Good Dogs!
