My boss and I have this conversation all the time. He’s firmly off the opinion that we’ve passed the tipping point so he’s switching from trying to bring about change to figuring out how best to survive.
When I’m stressed about something at work he reminds me none of it will matter soon!

This morning I was just ruminating about how I live in the worst timeline and how I hate everyone. Then I had a call with a younger team member who was WFH so he could care for his twins because his wife’s career is far more important. He then spent 15 minutes bragging about how incredible she is,

Definitely, the nighttime (around 10pm) is when I usually come awake. I haven’t fallen asleep before 3am unaided in months! 😭
Luckily I work from home so don’t have the added burden of having to make myself presentable in the AM, I can just crawl from bed to my desk.
