Anyway, I was and still am a smoker, much to my cardiologist’s ire. My cholesterol and triglycerides were crazy high. I got on Repatha 15 years ago and no heart issues since. I’m 64 now. But I’m sharing because back pain is a heart attack symptom for some. Hope this is helpful and not annoying!

Just because I couldn’t live with myself if I didn’t comment, your mom could be right. At 48, I had upper back pain that wouldn’t go away. I was having a heart attack. It went on for 2 weeks until my heart actually stopped for a nanosecond. Got to the ER in time, angioplasty and stent…
