Well that's the last time I buy Vans trainers. Only had these since May this year, been wearing Vans for nearly 25 years.

'Free spectacular entertainment' which seems to be Lady Penelope, Rab C. Nesbitt in a clown costume and Bob Carolgees. That DOES sound entertaining to be fair! From Channel 4 Oracle 1990.

For years I thought it looked more like the "Kings" in the Atari 2600 game Warlords

Did anyone get an Oracle index card back in the day when they bought/rented a teletext TV? From Channel 4 1988.

ITV Oracle November 1988 and a couple of things from Rumbelows.
My Mother bought a TV with this 4+4 cover and by the end of the first four years they were unable to fix a persistent standby fault, which a 14 year old me managed to fix and get another 7 years out of the TV...

Teletext VHS recovery from Channel 4 December 1985. I'd never heard of Focus TV and Video Centres before, they were a north west thing, Manchester etc and nothing to do with Focus TV Rental in Scotland.
In case you're wondering:
£7.95 = £24.67 today
£13.95 = £43.29 today

From ITV Tyne Tees July 1985; The new Ferguson TX90 that is not only a TV but has RGB and composite video inputs, ideal for your ZX Spectrum or Commodore 64!

Seeing as everyone seems to like old electrical retailer teletext pages, here's Comet's offering from Channel 4, 1997.

Quite possibly, there's LOTS of ads generally for Rumbelows!

An amazing late 1970s 12" Panasonic that works flawlessly despite me not having done anything to it!

I have a rebadged Prinz black and white TV! I particularly have a soft spot for the cheap black and white TVs with the not so well hidden VHF tuner. This is by far my worst one!
