UK-based miniature painter, 25, enjoying my hobby at my own pace.
Took a break from the hobby due to life stuff, but I am back to share a new project! A Hot Wheels Ford GT-40, dirtied up and crewed by deranged cowboy wannabes for #Gaslands because I wanna try and learn how to play. This one will belong to a vicious team of all-60s American cars!

I've picked one of my older paused projects back up - my Rogue Trader Lamenters! So close to having the entire 3rd Company painted up, but here's Squad Primus - hardy veterans from 1990's Space Crusade, identified by the choicest picks of gear, and checkered greaves. #paintingwarhammer #warhammer

So I wasn't happy with how the test Saturnine looked, and I've built the last three without the shoulder pads, and instead with 3D printed insignias and blast helmets like Inceptors, to lean into their astronaut look. I think these look way better, like lost prototypes. #warhammer #paintingwarhammer

Yes, yes, more World Eaters, I know - I've been focussing on them quite hard to get a playable force ready for the beginnings of an escalation league next month. Here's a Saturnine terminator, with a 3D printed head, shoulder pads, and extra-large back generators! #warhammer #paintingwarhammer

The full squad of Outriders is done. I gave a couple of them bionic limbs, and the sergeant's horse a set of plasma guns instead of bolters. I loved painting these so much, and they look fantastic as a full unit - now I'm just struck with the need to make five more! :'( #warhammer #paintingwarhammer

The head is fully custom, with the eyes being boltguns, and jewelry chain making up the reins identical to my Rampagers with kusarigama from before. The neck is also custom, and I included the horse's original spine amongst the cables and pistons. #warhammer

Painted a test model for an outrider squad for my Samurai World Eaters - I took a Krieg death rider and 3D printed the entire rider and head to make a grim horseman ready to charge the enemy lines. So much more thematic than motorbikes could ever be, and a truly grimdark result. #warhammer

Also finished off this old half-done project - an old forgotten OOP Forge World model, the Preyton! It's such a horrific thing, so I decided to try a more muted, high-contrast grimdark style. Not my cup of tea, I prefer my stuff to be more bright and eye-catching, but it was a fun experiment.

Here's a custom WE Typhon - I had a spare Spartan lying around which wasn't being used, so I chopped the front off and redid it in plasticard with a 3D printed cannon, prow spikes and doors. This came out really nicely, but I can't help thinking I should open up the top and add some sandbags...

As promised, a World Eaters dreadnought, stomping on a traitorous brother (or a Blood Angel, if I run him as a traitor himself). Arms are fully magnetised. Mostly 3D printed but using the old Berzerker Dreadnought body because it looks amazing with the split legion icon!

Additionally, more WEs - a squad of five Rampagers with meteor hammers/barb lashes, which I've turned into kusarigama. They were so much fun to model the parts in 3D, and pose them using wire and jewelry chains. Got more on the way - axe-y despoilers, and dreadnoughts, plus a Typhon and/or Cerberus!

More Samurai World Eaters - my Praetor, with a double bionic arm, and my banner bearer. I love how these guys came out, all 3D printed apart from the banners from Warlord Ashigaru and the body of the Praetor which was a Judiciar originally. This army's gonna look amazing when it's all together.

Got my hands on the Gundam TCG Wing set, cuz I wanted more of the models after the Zaku - Behold, my Tallgeese, painted in a Spartan-inspired colour scheme! I had a ton of fun subtly reposing this guy to look a bit more dynamic, and made the base out of milliput. The pair of bodyguard Leos are next!

Hey all - Only a day or two ago, this got revealed finally - took half a year, but I participated in the Frankengramps project with the Backloggers group. I did the backpack, everyone did a piece in secret - very awesome project, and came out amazing!

Tragic that my can of GW grey spray is compromised in some way. It feels normal for a minute, then turns powdery but the moment you touch it it turns to goop. Disgusting, and has ruined some of my models. Thankfully this custom Dreadnought made it out just about okay though. But man, this sucks.

A trio of Oni-inspired Red Butchers for my samurai World Eaters. All 3D printed except for the banners. It's a shame they're not so great in game, but dangit, they look amazing! So excited to continue this theme on the rest of the army.

Built a 30 Minute kit for Gundam today - love it, especially the Silly Little Guy he comes with. I'm mostly surprised he's so short though, even my entry grade RX78 is taller! It's dwarfed by most others in my collection. But ot is inspiring me to try and do my first GBWC entry this year... 🤔

I managed to get a hold of a Gundam Assemble Char's Zaku II at UK Games Expo a month early - painted it up the last couple of days and I am very much going to get more. With a custom base, the sculpt really looks incredible - just have to wait a year to actually use it now. Why is the wait so long?

A Samurai-inspired World Eaters centurion for Heresy. Decided on building a new force for 3rd edition, and 3D printed a test model - I love how it looks, so there shall definitely be more! I designed the head myself, using the bunny ears and a WE symbol to create a helmet crest.

A magnificently unwieldy Soviet KV-2 "Mama Bear" for Bolt Action. An Italeri kit, with some excellent Bad Squiddo female tankers, who are trying their best to have a conversation over the sound of the engine. Part of a small all-ladies force I'm working on.
June 2, 2025 at 10:02 PM
A kitbashed Word Bearers Centurion/Praetor for Horus Heresy. I have a large army of Nurgle-tainted fellows, and all of the conversions have been a blast to do. I'll be sure to share more of those in future.

A 3D printed Green Goblin proxy from the Raimi films for Marvel Crisis Protocol - This one's by Trident Miniatures. I love the film suit so much, and used Turbo Dork paints to get that iridescent, metallic beetle green colour.
June 2, 2025 at 9:57 PM
A Dark Elf Sorceress from Warhammer Fantasy, which was part of a challenge for myself to pick three random colours and make them work - I got foam green, purple and orange. I love the texture work I got on the fabrics, and this may be my best face yet.

Some poncho-packin' Clone Troopers from the 501st for Star Wars Legion, trudging through a swamp. These ones are STLs from Nyverdale Tabletop, and only a couple examples from a good-size force.
June 2, 2025 at 9:51 PM
An M4 Sherman "Black Lung" from the Pacific Theatre for Bolt Action - this one is from Anyscale Models, with added 3D printed loot tied down with string, plus wooden sides made of lollipop sticks. Tanks are my favourite parts of an army, and this one is crewed by kleptomaniacs!
