Finally played The Last of Us, and it definitely lives up to it's legacy as a masterclass in storytelling and character writing. I played the Remaster of the original version and it still looks gorgeous even today.

Let's see, not only are we getting a sick piece of Dante art, but we have the line at the top, which is Dante's final line in DMC 2, Dante is even doing the DmC Dante/Donte pose even down to the raised knee.
This is paying homage to everything DMC and I'm loving it.

I've realized that Lucia and Silver are pretty similar in how they're treated by their parent companies. A cool new character who would get sidelined due to debuting in a critically maligned title. Both deserve second chances and are underrated imo.

Reminder: This man has suffered whippings, swallowed a glass locket that potentially contained poison, fell through a burning bridge into a ravine that was deemed a fatal height, and was hit by a car, hit a telephone pole, and walked away with a sprained ankle.
