My experience watching Jeopardy prior to this year was when I visited my grandmother over the summer as a kid. Never watched it this late in the year, and I had no idea stuff like this could happen.

actual deaths ended up being a little quick/underwhelming.

Still, it had a lot of nice callbacks and a fair bit of humor thrown in. And some interesting twists and turns.
