I love a combiner that works solidly with itself but the g1 combiners aren't that, they are carried by scramble city.
Without it it's the most basic limbs and torso transformation and with the frame it's not even that.
I love scramble city because it makes a fun toy rather than just a good figure

I'm in the same boat I sold menasor off because he was kinda lame and now I gotta pound sand because I want fun toys. Arguably it's even worse if you do like frame combiners because now you need to buy a whole extra if you want to have the combiner prime in combined mode

I do believe that's exactly how the manga got its name nehi is simply quite fond of onomatopoeia we see a similar thing with Snickt! which is a wolverine comic he wrote in the early 2000s about wolverine

It does unfortunate that it can't support the weight on its own but it's a good solution for such a big weapon

Honestly I got pretty close myself after seeing Mixmaster in store but I just don't like the colors enough to justify it maybe I'll grab em if they get a interesting repaint
