Kicking off the new section in our Bi-weekly lab meetings called the "Bi-Weekly bug" where lab members each take turns to present an interesting Microbe. Today I selected Magnetospirillum magneticum for its compass like chain of intracellular magnetosomes. Excited to learn about the next Microbe 🧑🔬
