I know bullies are relying on fear to keep people under their thumb and from getting away from them, but time and again, we have seen that that only works in the short term.

This is what we mean when we say when we let this much unchecked power run amok. They might not be coming for you today, but they'd have no issue coming for you tomorrow. They'll always find a BS reason.
