There actually isn’t a lot of 241 in our current stock. But you’re right, the Am-241 grows in over time, so whenever we do a reprocessing, we separate the Am out using ion exchange chromatography. But these are ng amounts.

That’s a great question! It is very isotopically pure Pu-242. But there is also some 241, 240, and 238. But very small amounts.
Unfortunately I do not know where this stock came from. It was before I started. But if you’re really curious, I can find out for you and report back. :)
