However there will be a new addition to Niko’s calendar. I swore we’d never get another dog even when Niko was healthy. But I’d like to think Niko sent him to us to help us. He looks just like Niko because he is in fact related to Niko. Finn is his name and I will meet him December 20th!

I’ll continue these yearly calendars as long as I need to and will always include Niko.

I just laid in his bed and cried all the tears I had left for the day. I needed this. I had alone time to process things.
