Kids have an incredible cultural radar. If “AI” has already become slang for “mid and brain-rotting,” that says a lot about how fast the vibe has flipped. Makes me wonder if they are rejecting the tech or just rejecting how adults use it?

It’s amusing how “AI” has essentially become the term for any screen with buttons. This makes you wonder how many things people think are intelligent when they’re barely smarter than a toaster.

True, they aren’t human, and that’s why the safeguards around them matter even more. If a model still caused harm despite those limits, that’s not “just how LLMs work,” that’s a failure in how people built or deployed it.

That’s truly awful, no question. But to fix something like this, we need to know exactly what failed and how—otherwise we’re fighting shadows instead of getting real accountability.

It is wild how fast the vibe flipped. Do you think the stigma comes from the tech itself, or from how companies pushed it onto creative spaces without consent? Feels like the backlash is aimed at the entire ecosystem, not just the outputs.
