Finally getting back to stitching this beast again!

I started this one in 2020 but haven’t touched it much in the last few years. At this rate, I should finish it by… 2030 🤪
A massive cross stitch project, partially finished. It’s a collage of the original Pokémon sprites from Red/Blue. Several of the Pokémon have only been outlined in black stitches, not colored in yet.

Got to flex my teaching muscles at DevCon! I facilitated two sessions of a guided workshop about Workday Extend Pro features, including the AI Gateway.

Feeling energized by the conversations with students & grateful for the incredible team of educators and developers who made this event happen.

I love a good graph. These remind me of the Liz and Mollie drawings. They have all kinds of good visualizations for motivation and goals and stuff like that!

Then there’s the actual steps of the shortcut itself.

I used the Choose From Menu block, and then for each menu option you can add specific steps for what should happen when the user selects that option.

It uses the Shortcuts app! It comes built into iOS.

There’s two parts:

First, there’s an automation that says “whenever I open the YouTube app, run this sequence of commands.”

One of my goals for 2025 is to spend less time binging YouTube videos. I made a Shortcut to help me be more intentional when I open the YouTube app on my phone.
