I didn’t find it difficult either but perhaps it is if you come to it expecting plot.

Not that this means anything to anyone other than me, but The Waves is my favourite of her books and one of my favourite books of all time and I remember everything about the day I read it on the train from Norwich to London for an A Level Law trip. It blew my writing world apart (in a good way).

I recently slept for eight hours, the longest I have slept since my kids were born (over seven years ago). This sleep gifted me days of energy and an erotic dream about Rob Lowe, for which I was truly grateful.
