Kinda followed Cook’s Illustrated’s blueberry buckle recipe but dumped two boxes of strawberries in instead and used up the rest of the juice and zest from Mana’s lemons that I froze last month. Realizing that it seems like you can kind of just make these cakes with whatever fruits you want..? Tasty

Moshi played hooky so we could go pick mulberries on a Wednesday morning 😆 I made them into lemon mulberry almond cake and mulberry syrup (plus put the cooked strained bits into overnight oats)!
