Text in image: Call for Proposals! Overview The Health Research and Evaluation for Communities (HREC) Section and Workgroup will accept applications for up to $30,000. The purpose of these awards is to advance the science and practice for health, wellbeing, and access to high-quality health care, public health, and social services in Utah, the Intermountain West, and nation for all persons regardless of sociodemographic, health, or economic backgrounds. Eligible Applicants Only one research proposal per principal investigator (PI) will be reviewed. PI must possess primary faculty appointments within the University of Utah Department of Internal Medicine Mentored trainees (ie, postdocs, fellows, and residents) with an identified Department of Internal Medicine faculty mentor may also apply. Together with our colleagues at @huntsmancancer.bsky.social, we packed 400+ food boxes at the Utah Food Bank during a time when food security is a huge challenge in our community. 💝 Love that this event brought faculty, staff & students to work & have fun together!
