my current library called me back and said that even if I pay $125 a year, they can’t guarantee I’ll get a full service card. I resorted to emailing the library consortium and hoping they’ll see how frustrating this is

Library saga continues: my town advertises we can get a library card at the next town over, went there today and they don’t offer full service cards and they can’t guarantee I’ll be able to use it at all because “the system is changing”

I promise, they’re out there. my wife and I are equally baseball obsessed and now we get to spend time each summer road tripping to new ballparks.

I’m so disappointed, they said it’s because of their new system.

I wouldn’t be surprised. I’m so disappointed, they suggested using libby to supplement, but I just prefer a regular old book. hopefully I can figure out a solution.

they no longer allow “work in town” cards to have those privileges? I’m going back to see why, I can’t find any information on when/why it changed.
